Back to Work

I bit the bullet and talked to my boss about going back to work.  I have resisted thinking about work while I'm on leave.  It makes me feel panicked to even go by where my office is located on the highway.  Yesterday morning I had this thought that I might announce/request (I wasn't sure which) that I work primarily from home (aka telecommute) for the first month I'm back.  So the conversation has been had and it's all good.  I feel so much better about the thought of going back and feel that I'm actually ready for the inevitable.  I mean there was never any question that I'd be going back.  So now I can enjoy the last two weeks without anxiety.  Hey, it's not like I can't take a vacation day whenever I want to, right?  This is MAJOR because I had a heavy heart all the way to North Carolina because I knew the week of vacation would fly by and I'd be home before I knew it and facing the Monday morning question of "what the hell am I going to wear".  I'll be going shopping later this week.

So, this means you are going to be working primarily from home then?  Or, are you going back to your actual work?  I am confused!!!  If it's working from home, good for you!!!  I wish I could have found a job like that!
Hugs and love, Lisa

I'm going back full time as of August 2nd but will work from home as much as I possibly can.  Although the children will still be in daycare I will be close by to pick them up much earlier and most likely continue working as needed after they go to bed.  It's just that being able to put in the time outside of the in the office 8:30-5:30 boundaries makes my life so much less stressed!

Shopping.  Here's where I can help.  Nordstrom is currently having their annual Anniversary Sale.  Unlike other sales, this is the NEW stuff for fall, discounted FIRST, then the prices go up on August 2nd.  Buy now.  Lot's of cool stuff in great colors and textures.  This year, tweed and boucle appear very popular.  And everything is pink or black.

Awesome tip on the Nordstrom.  The mall closest to home, which I love, has a Nordstrom and if you recall they also have the nicest restrooms that are totally outfitted for mom's with young babies! :)  Kate and I are headed there today or tomorrow!
